Colors of East

When the Trans March ends on Javaplein in Amsterdam East, the party starts. Colors of East is diversity at its greatest. This is where all the members of our community and their different cultures come together. Women with headscarves dance with trans people and drag queens of color. Bicultural young people come together on the stages where up-and-coming artists and rappers from the streets alternate. The festival site has two stages, a market with information stands, and stalls with food from all corners of the globe.
